LSNC has been striving to and succeeding at improving the lives of so many in our local community last 50 years. It is our mission to continue to achieve these goals with our annual Valentine Run. With the help of local companies and groups of individual runners forming we know that we will not only meet our goals but, in fact, exceed them each year.
Create a Team for you and your friends, relatives or co-workers to work together to raise funds and compete against other teams.

Go out and recruit your friends, family and coworkers to form a team. All team members must be Registered participants of Valentine Run 2008.
Team members can join a team as they register by indicting the team number in the team field online or on their mailed in registration form.
Step 1: Creating A Team
Once a team captain has been selected, the captain of your team will be responsible for coordinating all team-related activities:
- Create Your Team online - your team number will be assigned by our system
- Create Team Login online - be sure to record the username & password!
- Provide team name and number to all intended members
- Login to your Team Captain's Page to monitor your team's progress
You may opt to create a Team Pledge Reconciliation form to record team member pledge activity however each team member will be responsible for submitting all offline pledges they receive independently either by mailing to: CRRM/LSNC, P.O. Box 19027, Sacramento, CA 95819 or by dropping off on Race Day. Deadline is March 1, 2008.
Step 2: Joining A Team
There are two options for becoming a registered race participant so that you may join a team. An individual may want to be present at the race itself and, therefore, would be registered either as a timed or untimed runner/walker. However, there may be those who do not wish to be involved on race day but would still like to collect pledges on behalf of their team. These team members can register as “virtual runners.” There is a place for this on the mail-in Registration Form as well as online for them to indicate their preference.
Once registered, you can Join Your Team. If you need more information about joining a team, click here.
Step 3: Collecting Pledges
ONLINE PLEDGES
After joining your team you can begin collecting pledges. One of the best ways to raise online pledges is to Create A Fundraising Page. It's easy for people to give online and you can reach out across the web to those out of our area. Personalize your page with a customized message and picture to your family, friends and co-workers using the e-mail features provided. All pledges you have collected will be reflected online on your page.
Tell your friends, family members & coworkers to make their pledge online by clicking the image of "Zippie" the dog (Donate Here) on any website page and select Pledge To A Runner .
