Thank you for participating in the Valentine Run 2010 Team Fundraising effort. Team fundraising can be a fun and rewarding
way to experience the event. Make every heart-felt step count by
encouraging friendly competition among team members and by
fundraising on behalf of LSNC! The information on this page
will help you create a team or find a team and join the Race for
Justice!
Create a
Competitive Team of Two.
Competitive teams of two may be all male, all female, or co-ed.
If you are interested in participating in the run as a member of a two
member competitive team, please register following the instructions for
competitive teams.

Team Captain Info
As the designated Team Captain you will Create the Team and Create a
Login for yourself. As Captain, you may recruit members to your team,
encourage fundraising and coordinate Race Day photos, etcetera. Your
team may want to set a goal based on our great prizes. Check it out!

In order to be on a team you must first register for the run. If you are
not registered you may join your team at the same time you register. If
you have already registered and would now wish to join a team, click
Join a Team. Please print the Team Information Packet for your records.

Create an Individual Fundraising Page (Optional)
Once you have become a Team Member, you have the option of having
donations made on your behalf credited to you as an individual, as well
as to the team. To have your pledges credited individually you must
create an Individual Fundraising Page. Personalize your page with
photos and text, announce and track your fundraising goals, create your
own address list, and use the e-mail templates provided to request
donations from friends, co-workers, and family members.

How to Collect Pledges
Your donors will need to know your bib number OR the correct
spelling of your last name to insure that you and your team members
receive proper credit for pledges made on your behalf. Now you're ready
to collect pledges in one of 2 easy ways:

Here are the simple steps your donor will take
to pledge online.

Valentine Run

click on Zippie the Dog
-
select Pledge Online, then they can locate your page
using your last name or bib number
-
they enter a pledge amount at the top of your page; and
-
click “Make Donation” - That's it!

Mail-In Pledge Cards
We offer easy-to-use pledge cards for mail-in donations. All the
instructions for use are provided on the pledge cards. To accurately
credit donations made via Pledge Cards, either you or your donor must
fill in the following information:

Once an online pledge
is made or a pledge card sent is entered on your behalf, an
acknowledgement will be sent to you and the donor will receive a
charitable contribution receipt*. It can take up to 10 days to process a
pledge that has been mailed in.
All pledges must be received by LSNC by
March 1st, 2010 to qualify for this year's pledge prizes!
